LaVell talks about how the special connection with her mom and food in her latest post “My Mom’s Influence.” From learning the importance of balanced meals, sitting down to meals together as a family and learning to cook, LaVell credits her mother for helping her develop many of the healthy habits she now practices with her own kids.

What are some examples of things your mother done to help you develop healthy habits?
