As farm women, we believe it is absolutely never OK to mistreat animals. Never.
As livestock producers, we understand firsthand how important it is to provide excellent care for our animals every day. In fact, it’s our moral and ethical obligation. And we take it quite seriously.
It not only makes good sense both as farmers and business owners, but it’s truly the right thing to do. We work hard to ensure our animals are kept healthy and content.
You can imagine how much it upsets us when we hear about other farmers who don’t share our respect for the animals that help feed us. We never, ever want animals to be mistreated. We take great pride in caring for our animals and teaching our children how to do the same.
We support other farmers and ranchers who treat their animals with care and respect, and we will not tolerate the few who fail to do the same.
Do you have questions about how livestock is treated on farms and ranches? As volunteers, we’re happy to chat with you about how we care for animals on our farms. Feel free to ask us about it.
